Terms of Service

By using Trading Monitor ("the service", "the platform", "we"), you agree to these terms of service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. Service Description

Trading Monitor is a real-time drawdown monitoring platform for MetaTrader (MT4/MT5) accounts. The service includes:

  • A read-only Expert Advisor (EA) that syncs data from your MetaTrader terminal.
  • A mobile app to visualize drawdown metrics, balance, equity, and trades.
  • A push alert system based on configurable thresholds.
  • Per-strategy performance tracking (magic number).

Important: Monitoring Only

Trading Monitor is exclusively an observation and alerting service. It does not execute, modify, or close trading operations under any circumstances. The EA installed on your MetaTrader terminal has read-only permissions and is technically incapable of performing trading operations.

2. Registration and Account

  • You must provide a valid email address.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your password and account.
  • You must be at least 18 years old.
  • One person may have only one account.
  • We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.

3. User Responsibilities

  • You are solely responsible for your trading decisions. Trading Monitor does not provide financial advice or investment recommendations.
  • You must correctly configure the EA on your MetaTrader terminal following the provided instructions.
  • You are responsible for setting appropriate alert thresholds for your accounts.
  • You must not attempt to manipulate, reverse engineer, or interfere with the service's operation.
  • You must not share your API token with third parties.
  • You must not use the service for illegal activities or activities that violate your broker's or prop firm's terms.

4. Subscription and Payments

Free Plan

The free plan includes unlimited trading account monitoring at no cost, with no credit card required. The free plan displays rewarded video ads when the app is opened, with a maximum of one (1) ad every three (3) hours. Ads are served by Google AdMob. By using the free plan you accept the applicable AdMob policies.

Pro Plan (ad-free)

  • The Pro plan has the same features as the free plan but removes advertising.
  • Pricing: $0.99 USD/month or $8.99 USD/year (25% savings on annual).
  • The subscription is processed through the App Store or Google Play and is billed automatically at the start of each billing period. Local pricing is converted by Apple and Google per your region.
  • You can cancel your subscription at any time from the App Store or Google Play settings. Pro access continues until the end of the already-paid period.
  • No refunds are issued for partial periods.

Price Changes

We reserve the right to modify service prices. We will notify you at least 30 days in advance before any price change takes effect.

5. Service Availability

  • We strive to maintain the service available 24/7, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
  • Interruptions may occur due to maintenance, updates, or factors beyond our control.
  • Alerts depend on connectivity between your MetaTrader terminal, our servers, and push notification services. We do not guarantee instant alert delivery.

6. Limitation of Liability

Critical Clause

Trading Monitor does not execute trading operations. We are exclusively a monitoring and alerting service. Therefore:

  • We are not responsible for financial losses resulting from your trading operations, regardless of whether our alerts functioned correctly or not.
  • We are not responsible for losses caused by delays, failures, or non-delivery of alerts.
  • We are not responsible for the accuracy of MetaTrader data synced by the EA.
  • We are not responsible for trading decisions made or not made based on information displayed by the platform.
  • We are not responsible for the suspension or violation of prop firm accounts, evaluations, or other funding programs.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Trading Monitor's total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount paid by the user in the last 12 months.

7. Intellectual Property

  • Trading Monitor, including its software, design, brand, and content, is the property of its creators.
  • Your trading data remains yours. We grant you a limited license to use the platform, not ownership rights over it.
  • You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the service without prior authorization.

8. Termination

By the User

You can cancel your account at any time from the app settings. Upon cancellation, your data will be deleted in accordance with our privacy policy.

By Trading Monitor

We may suspend or terminate your access to the service if:

  • You violate these terms of service.
  • You use the service fraudulently or abusively.
  • You default on payments after a reasonable grace period.

9. Modifications to Terms

We may update these terms periodically. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through the app at least 15 days in advance. Continued use of the service after changes implies acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the applicable laws in the jurisdiction where Trading Portfolio Management operates. Any dispute will be resolved through the competent courts of said jurisdiction.
