At Trading Monitor ("we", "our", "the platform"), we are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy describes what data we collect, how we use it, and what your rights are.

• Real-time monitoring: We process your trading data to calculate drawdown levels, generate metrics, and display them in the app.
• Alerts: We evaluate your configured thresholds against real-time data to send push notifications when you approach or exceed a limit.
• Service improvement: We analyze aggregated and anonymized data to improve the platform.
• Communication: We send account-related emails (verification, password reset, service updates).

• Your data is stored on servers with protected PostgreSQL databases.
• Passwords are encrypted with bcrypt before storage.
• API connections use HTTPS with JWT authentication.
• EA sync tokens are unique per account and revocable.
• We implement rate limiting to protect against unauthorized access.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Firebase (Google): Firebase Cloud Messaging for push notifications, Firebase Crashlytics for crash reporting, and Firebase Analytics for anonymized usage metrics. Google may process device tokens and anonymous identifiers according to its privacy policy.
• Google AdMob (Free plan only): We use Google AdMob to serve rewarded interstitial video ads to Free plan users (maximum one ad every three hours on app cold-start). AdMob may collect the Advertising Identifier, IP address, device information, and ad interaction events in order to serve ads and measure their performance. This data is processed by Google according to its advertising policy. Pro subscribers on the ad-free plan do not see ads, the AdMob SDK is not loaded for them, and no data is shared with AdMob.
• RevenueCat: For managing Pro subscriptions through in-app purchases (Apple App Store and Google Play Store). RevenueCat processes anonymous user identifiers and subscription status. We do not store credit card data directly — billing is handled by Apple and Google in compliance with PCI-DSS standards.
• Sentry: For error monitoring on the backend server. Sentry may process anonymized error traces and request metadata.
• Email provider: For transactional emails (account verification, password recovery).

5. Your Rights

As a Trading Monitor user, you have the right to:

• Access: Request a copy of all data we hold about you.
• Export: Export your trading data in a structured format.
• Rectification: Correct any inaccurate personal data.
• Deletion: Request complete deletion of your account and all associated data. This process is irreversible.
• Portability: Receive your data in a machine-readable format.
• Ad personalization opt-out: If you are on the Free plan, you can limit ad tracking by resetting or disabling your Advertising Identifier in your device settings (iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising; Android: Settings → Google → Ads). You can also upgrade to Pro to remove ads entirely and stop all ad-related data sharing.

6. Data Retention

• Your trading data is retained as long as your account is active.
• When you delete your account, all personal and trading data is permanently deleted within 30 days.
• We may retain aggregated and anonymized data for statistical purposes.

7. Cookies and Advertising

Website: the marketing website at tradingmonitor.app may use essential cookies for basic functionality (e.g., language preference). The website does not use tracking or advertising cookies.

Mobile app — Free plan: displays rewarded interstitial video ads served by Google AdMob (see section 4). AdMob uses the Advertising Identifier to serve and measure ads; this is not a cookie but is subject to the same opt-out rights described in section 5.

Mobile app — Pro plan: no ads, no Advertising Identifier collection, and the AdMob SDK is not loaded.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy periodically. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through the app. Continued use of the service after changes implies acceptance of the updated policy.
